Alternatively we can take introduce you to one of our trusted local Architects or take your overall brief and develop a scope of works.

Monthly cost reports are issued as a matter of course. Detailing project costs and savings, providing you with an ongoing running project total.

What costs will be involved?

Here are few suggestions to help you take the correct path for your project. Armed with this information, you can more easily make an informed decision.

Do I need Architect Services?

We are happy to work with an Architect of your choice. However, we can also share details of Architects that we’ve worked with successfully on local projects in your area.

Can you provide a full project management service?

Yes, we can fully manage all aspects of your project, making it a hassle free service to suit your own personal requirements.

Any project large or small. We are big enough to handle it and small enough to care.

Working closely with trusted local Architects and structural engineers, means that you can be sure of the very best quality of design and building work.

Do I need planning permission?

Together with our associate Architects, we can help and advise you if planning permission is needed and how to apply, so that you have the best prospect of successful application.

You may be able to undertake some works under your statutory Permitted Rights to Develop without the need for planning permission.

We work within the strict historic building regulations.

Using traditional trade skills including lime mortar, timber framing, roofing and plastering. We give you the very best quality.

Our reliable associate Architects and historic building town planners work to unlock difficult planning issues in historic environments.

What about Building Regulations?

Even if planning permission is not required, Building Regulations approval is.

All works are certified by the local authority Building Inspector, so that your improvements are legally recognised, essential when trying to resell your property.  


Can we live in part of the building while work is carried out?

Yes, this is possible. By carefully assessing and planning the sequence of works for you, it is often safe for you to occupy part of an existing building during construction.

We will tend to your needs so that all building risks are carefully managed and you and your family remain safe and experience minimum disruption.

We strive to keep all building areas tidy and clean. Including an inspection before we leave site in the evenings.

Do I have to liaise with the Council?

No (unless you want to), we take care of this for you.

We’ll liaise with your local planning department and building inspector through every stage of the build.

Ensuring the appropriate certificates are issued to you upon completion.

Projects are completed to the highest standards with 3 to 12 month project durations. Allowing time to properly plan and develop both the building design and the on site building works.

We don’t carry out fast track building projects. We want to really get to know the job and provide exceptional quality and a friendly amenable service to you, where we can look after your every need.
